Help Ali Make an Amazing Record!

Our dear friend, Ms. Ali Wadsworth is hands down one of the best voices around. You may have seen her singing with Good Old War, Hoots & Hellmouth, Fantasy Square Garden,Kuf Knotz, Toy Soldiers and a million more but the time has come and she’s going to make her first solo record of all songs her favorite songwriters wrote specifically for her.  (I was even fortunate enough to be able to write one for her!) This record is bound to be a classic and Ali needs some help raising some bones to make this thing happen.  We’re extremely excited about this project and you should be too, it’s gonna blow yer miiiiiiind.  Check it out HERE.

October’s Pre-Hibernation Batch of Shows!

Good evening!

As we approach the mild-tempered, sweet days of fall and eventually plunge into the cold-hearted blustery days of winter we’re also getting ready to hibernate and make our next record!  Which also means we’re gonna turn down the 6 month show bender we’ve been on and focus on writing and making the best record we can imagine for next spring.

Here’s what’s going down for the rest of October:

10/15 - BLOKTOBERFEST with The Walkmen!  FREE. We’ll be playing around 8PM on the main stage.

10/18 - CMJ.  Bowery Electric. 9:30 set-time.  So many great bands on this bill.

10/20 - LADY Record Release party @ PhilaMOCA.

10/29 - HALLOWEEN HOEDOWN with Hoots & Hellmouth! at The Note in West Chester, PA.  This is gonna be a special, spooky time.  Expect some eerie jams and of course come in costume!

We’ll be doing on show in November, TBA. As well as a big holiday party at the brand new Milkboy on 12/10, and MAYBE one other surprise show. More on all that soon!

Hope to see you all out there! and keep following our “Lazy Sunday with Toy Soldiers” video series.  New Episode every Sunday, 3PM on our website.

Episode 3 of “Lazy Sunday with Toy Soldiers”.  A revisit to “Hard Times” live at Yard’s Brewery (WHYY Connections Festival Afterparty on 9/3)
